Bullets — also known as “fascinations” — are short pieces of copy that are designed to intrigue your reader.
Examples would be…
* Four ways to create a unique selling point for a product or service that isn’t unique.
* The one thing you MUST do if you want to dominate Google’s search results. (It’s literally impossible to get a meaningful market share without it.)
* The best place to take photos of the Eiffel Tower. (Hint: it’s not Trocadero or the Champs de Mars.)
* The three psychological triggers you should weave into your social media posts. (You won’t learn these from Robert Cialdini.)
Such bulets are particularly important if you’re writing a sales page for a book, course, free report, or information product.
I specialise in writing bullets like these.
Here are some I wrote for Jason Capital, a well-known internet marketer (I wrote the bullets, Jason wrote the rest of the sales page):
(Be warned, there’s a lot of swearing!)
Afterwards Jason told me:
“When I needed a copywriter to produce a mountain of bullets, I asked around and your name came up the most. I see why legends like Parris rave about your skills – excellent work man. And I very much appreciate your communication and high output. You’re a true pro.”
